I ACT NOW:

Now is the time.  It is never too late to start living your dreams.  When you commit then providence joins you.  You are never alone.  Failure to act has killed more great ideas than any other force.  Take the first step, then the next and then repeat.  Soon enough you will be there. Time is precious. I respect the clock as I am now old enough to understand that wasting time is the greatest enemy along with failing to conquer our fears.  You cannot buy more time.

OPPORTUNITY IS EVERYWHERE:

I see opportunities where others see problems and I make good things happen.  I contribute to something bigger than myself.  I make the world better, brighter and happier.  In helping others, I automatically help myself.  There is nothing more powerful than the “noble effect of heaven-sent madness”.

I AM BRAVE:

I do not take counsel from my fears.  The greatest prison we make for ourselves is the fear of what other people think.  We dread the fact of discovering YOU ARE MORE than you or anyone else ever thought.  If we succeed we pass through that unknown door and that scares us.  As we grow our contempt for failure grows.  We are not defined by some pecking order (size of house, expensive car, higher education, etc. but by pursuing our goals for their own worth not what anyone else thinks. Get rid of the past.  It is also one of our prisons.  What is done, is done.  Learn from it but let it go.  Nothing is defined by what occurred.  Everything changes.  The mountains that you carry, you were only supposed to climb.

I AM IN CONTROL:

I alone am responsible.  Responsibility is the ability to respond.  The real freedom we have is our ability to choose our response to any circumstance and that includes embracing the risk of freedom over the bondage of some perceived security. Action is my power.  I will act.  Action kills fear.  Nothing changes unless you act.  I will not give up.  I lever my talent, experience and education but resilience makes it all happen. The status quo is my enemy.   I will not cower in the darkness of squandered potential.  When I act, I create.  When I create, I learn and grow.  When I create the world changes.

I AM AN INSTRUMENT OF CHANGE:

Innovation and change are noble purposes.  I am proud to be a pioneer, a visionary, an outsider.  I abhor mediocrity.  I also except the changes in my circumstance.  I constantly observe, orient, decide and act.  I learn from what came before but I am not bound by it.  I am fully invested and totally resourceful.  I am wise in the use of my resources and therefore I am focused and I hustle.  I know I have to do more with less and that includes appropriate delegation.

BEING OLDER ROCKS!:

As an elder we know things and have experienced much.  Age does not define us, our actions do.  We inspire and provoke action.  We support each other.  We are creating lives worth living.  I will be passionate, adventuresome, curious, open and creative.  In the process this will be fun.
